Fishery Information

Situated in Littleborough, Greater Manchester, Pennine Trout Farm and Fishery is a stunning location that offers great sport to the dedicated Trout angler. The venue comprises of two fly fishing lakes that span a total of five acres. There are various swims available, with good access for both the disabled and elderly angler.

The site is open to both members and the day ticket fisherman, with the tickets starting from just £15. The waters boast a variety of fishing features, as well as being home to a good head of Brown, Golden, Rainbow and Blue Trout.

What size do the fish go to?

The waters are regularly restocked with fish in the 2-3lbs region. Larger species are caught with frequency in double figures, with the course record for Rainbow, Brown, Blue and Golden standing well above 20lbs.

What tactics work well?

Fry pattens and small beaded flies are extremely effective. Dries can be very useful in enticing Brown Trout, which tend to lie deeper in the waters.
