Fishery Information

Poysers Pond, located between Olvers Lake and Grimshaws Lake, has a depth of approximately 4 feet and a stock of small carp, tench, roach, and bream. The float method of fishing is the only one permitted in this pond, and fishing is only allowed during daylight hours.

Recent work has been done to remove sediment from the pond, which was once a portion of the Trent stream formerly known as Poysers Ponds and served as the original stock pond.
