Fishery Information

River Mole has not been fished extensively over the past years, but it holds a reputation for producing excellent fishing to visitors. This water is deeper in some places and different compared to the other stretch at Norbury Park. Larger fish can be found in this section of water, including chub, dace, gudgeon, pike, brown trout, roach and barbel. Specimen brown trout of up to 7 lbs. have been reportedly caught on this water.

River Mole runs from Mickleham, near the Running Horses pub, to Young Street. Free parking facilities can be found at Young Street car park, which gives easy access to the river. This 2-mile river is fairly shallow but is home to a very large head of chub, perch to 5 lbs., chub to 6 lbs. and barbel to 13 lbs.. Pleasure bags weighing 50 lbs.. are not uncommon.

River Mole is also known for offering excellent winter fishing experience.
