Roding Valley Lake is a popular stillwater fishery in the town of Essex. The lake boasts a healthy carp population, ranging in size from 10lb to 30lb.
Pike, Mirror Carp, and Common Carp are among the species available at the site. The lake is best known for its Carp/Specimen and Pike/Predator fishing, but it gets extremely crowded in the summer, making fishing difficult.
It is preferable to fish it in the autumn and winter when it is less crowded. The property’s owners have taken steps to make it more accessible to people with disabilities. Night fishing is also permitted at this location.
