Address

Fishery Information

This is a big lake at 7 acres in size which is found on the outskirts of Burnley and set in lovely parkland. It has been described as a lovely place to fish and you really feel like you are away from it all.

What size do the fish go to?

Carp go to over 23lb and there are bream to over 4lb. Roach has been caught to over 1lb.

What tactics work well?

Due to this place having lots of bream, ground bait works really well. This is best used on a feeder rod with hook baits such as maggots, corn, and caster working really well. If it’s the big carp you are after then give pellets a try. There is also pike in this lake which can be caught on dead baits.

What facilities are on-site?

There are no facilities on site but there is a pub just down the road!

Is parking available?

There is a car park just down the road off Rowley Lane.
