Fishery Information

Hayling Island is home to Sinah Lake, an established gravel pit. It is roughly 15 acres and located right next to the golf course. The PDAS-managed fishery provides excellent opportunities for recreational fishing for all anglers.

There is a large population of high-quality monster carp, roach, rudd, and decent-sized pike, as well as tench and bream that reach double figures. There is no closed season for fishing on this body of water; but, for fishery management, it may be essential to close the water at a moment’s notice.

What size do the fish go to?

The carp can go to monster sizes while many of he other fish also go up to double figures.

What tactics work well?
