Fishery Information

The Portsmouth and District Angling Society is in charge of managing the Alver Valley Lake stillwater fishery, a two-acre lake located in a wildlife sanctuary in Hampshire. Alver Valley Lake is only open to members of the society (PDAS).

Carp and specimen fishing, along with coarse fishing and match fishing, are among the most popular activities available at the venue. Carp, Tench, Roach, Rudd, and Perch are some of the fish available.

Night fishing is one of the activities enjoyed at the venue, which also features a great deal of action and amusement, making it an excellent choice for novice and younger anglers. There is no closed season for fishing on this body of water.  However, fishery management may decide to close this body of water at short notice.

A large head of Carp to 20lb
