The tranquil and secluded Springwater Fishery is only four miles away from Ayr, set on six acres. The fishery includes three lochs: the Fly Loch, the Bait Loch, and the Coarse Loch.

The Fly Fishing Loch spans 6 acres and comprises three islands, each accessible using the bridges. The fish range in weight from two to fifteen pounds. These fish include Rainbow Trout, Steelhead Trout, Blue Trout, and Brown Trout.

The Bait Fishing Loch spans an area of 1.5 acres and is home to fish ranging in size from 1 pound and up. Spinning is okay to use in the loch. It is an excellent location for novice and experienced anglers who want to improve their skills.

The Coarse Loch is a spring water fishery complex of three freshwater lochs set amongst splendid Ayrshire farmland. It is in a quiet location only four miles from Ayr. It contains Roach, Trench, Golden Tench, Skimmers, Hybrids, Chub, Rudd, Crucian, Common, Mirror F1, and Ghost Carp. Additionally, it contains Perch that can weigh up to 2 pounds.

What size do the fish go to?

Trout range in weight from two to fifteen pounds, while Perch can g up to 2 pounds. the weights for the other fish stocked in the lochs is not available at the moment.

What tactics work well?

Fly fishing for the trout and coarse fishing tackle for the coarse fish.
