Fishery Information
A family run fishery with scenic views, Trinity Waters caters to anglers of all skill levels, young and old, abled and disabled. The complex has 5 lakes and is split into 2 sites: Woodland Site and Wildmarsh Site. Woodland Site is the home of Woodland Lake and Ash Lake. On the other hand, Wildmarsh Site is the home of Wildmarsh Lake, Middlemarsh Lake and Chandos Lake. All lakes are silt bottom with the occasional hard clay spot.
Woodland Lake is a 2-acre water with 34 swims (some are double) and ideal for both pleasure and match anglers.
Ash Lake is a 1-acre canal style water with 19 swims. It has 3 main islands which are in reach to fish from the swims. Just like Woodland Lake, this lake is perfect for pleasure and match anglers.
Wildmarsh Lake is a 6-acre lake with 76 swims. This is the main runs water for day and night fishing. Matches are not allowed on this water anymore due to the high demand of carp fishing.
Middlemarsh Lake is a 1.5-acre lake with 16 swims. This is the main pleasure water, but match and night fishing are not allowed. It is also ideal to pleasure anglers.
Chandos Lake is a 3-acre lake with 9 swims. The main island can be fished to from pegs 2, 3, 4 and 12. The 2 back bays are fishable from pegs 11 and 12. Pegs 6, 8, 11 and 12 are the main double swims. This challenging water is the main carp water for night fishing.
Night fishing is available on Chandos Lake and Wildmarsh Lake only. Anglers under 18 years old are allowed as long as accompanied by adults.
What size do the fish go to?
Woodland Lake is well-stocked with carp to 20 lbs., bream to 6 lbs., tench to 8 lbs. and roach to 2 lbs..
Ash Lake is well-stocked with carp to 19 lbs., green and gold tench to 6 lbs., crucians to 3 lbs., perch to 3 lbs. and bream to 5 lbs..
Wildmarsh Lake is well-stocked with carp to 31 lbs. 6 oz., grass carp to 25 lbs., crucians to 3 lbs., green and gold tench to 6 lbs., bream to 11 lbs. and perch to 3 lbs..
Middlemarsh Lake is well-stocked with carp to 12 lbs., crucians to 3 lbs., tench to over 6 lbs., bream to 3 lbs., and F1s to 2 lbs..
Chandos Lake is well-stocked with carp to 29.8 lbs. and grass carp to 21 lbs..
What tactics work well?
On Woodland and Ash lakes, paste, pellet and meat are effective for catching carp during summer. Sweetcorn works well, too. Silvers respond well to pellet (soft or hard) and caster. During winter, dead red maggot and a smaller, lighter tackle is recommended.
On Wildmarsh and Chandos lakes, carp respond well to boilies of all sizes tipped with fake corn or pop ups. PVA bags or sticks as loose feed work well, too. Spodding and spoming work well depending on the day.
On Middlemarsh Lake, carp respond well to soft pellet, worm, corn, paste and maggot. Silvers respond well to pellet (soft or hard), maggot, corn and caster.
What facilities are on site?
Facilities include a bait shop, a lodge with everything that you’ll need, car parking and easy access, double swims, disabled access and toilets.
