Fishery Information

Willow Farm Fishery, located in the picturesque Worcestershire countryside, offers three beautiful lakes for match and pleasure fishing. Each lake is surrounded by mature trees, water iris, and willows, providing breathtaking views from all pools.

Dragonfly Pool: Dragonfly pool is popular for its abundance of large, hard-fighting carp, including mirrors, commons, and linears. The average carp size is 9-10 pounds, with doubles commonplace. There are also quality silvers, such as sizable perch and tench, but the carp may overshadow these during summer months. Effective tactics for Dragonfly include using pellets, corn, meat, maggot, paste, pellet feeder, bomb, and pellet waggler.

Sandpipers Pool: As the largest of the three lakes, Sandpipers features two islands and is a favorite among carp anglers. The pool has a large head of carp averaging around 7-8 pounds, with some specimens weighing over 23 pounds. Sandpipers also contains big roach and perch up to 2 pounds, offering anglers a varied experience.

Whispers Pool: The smallest and most peaceful of the lakes, Whispers has one island and offers a diverse range of fish. Carp in this pool are pristine, averaging around 5-6 pounds, with some reaching double figures. Whispers also boast a good head of silvers and F1s, including tench, roach, perch, bream, and the occasional chub. Pole fishing works well here, and targeting the margins later in the day can be successful. Trying maggot or castor can lead to a mixed bag of fish and consistent bites throughout the day.
