Fishery Information

Controlled by the Warrington Anglers Association, Appleton Reservoir is a members-only water located near to Walton Golf Course in South Warrington. Formerly the club’s put and take trout fishery, this water is now a mixed coarse fishery.

Also known as Walton Reservoir, Appleton Reservoir is home to beautiful roach, perch, bream and tench. Despite its size, this fishery has a limited number of pegs. Fishing is available on the sandbank facing the dam wall. Alternatively, anglers can also fish along the west bank in the reeds. However, wearing Wellington boots or waders is highly recommended when fishing on that area.

Day tickets are not available for this fishery.
