Fishery Information

Bilberry Pool is a 4-acre lake in the village of Bilberry in Cornwall. In total there are 12 swims on this lake and it’s currently ran by Roche Angling Club and has been all the way back to 1964.

Back then it wasn’t known for carp fishing that it’s famous for now as it used to stock Trout and other silverfish.

This is a very deep lake and in the middle, it goes all the way to 40ft in depth which allows the fish to grow really big. However, fishing here is hard so be prepared to be patient.

What size do the fish go to?

There’s no real information on this, but we presume they are big as the carp were stocked in 1968 with some of the original fish still living in there.
