Fishery Information

The Blasford Hill Fishery consists of a beautiful 4-acre lake that is completely surrounded by nature. It features reedy bays, a couple of islands here and there, and has its 3 coasts lined with trees.

This fishery is ideal for anglers interested in Match and Carp/Specimen fishing. When it comes to species, the most common ones of this lake are Carp, Bream, and Tench. Any of these can be caught in the 22 pegs that are available all around the lake. If you’re curious about the most stocked species here, it’s probably Carp with specimens of up to 20lbs.

Entry and fishing within this fishery are based on a £10 daily ticket that gives one angler access to a single swim. The same ticket allows them to bring a maximum of two rods.

Last but not least, it is worth mentioning that this fishery has access to roughly 600 yards of the Chelmer river. In this strip, anglers can catch Roach, Chub, Pike, and Perch.
