Fishery Information

St Michael’s on Wyre in Preston, Lancashire is a lovely community with a historic church and riverside footpaths, and the Briarcroft coarse fishing and timber vacation lodge are located within walking distance of each other.

A total of two coarse fishing lakes, each measuring one acre and one-fifth acre, respectively are  stocked with Mirror and Common Carp up to 25 pounds, Crucian Carp up to 3 pounds, Roach up to 2 pounds, Bream up 7 pounds, Tench up 7 pounds, Rudd and Chub.

Briarcroft Fishery is a private fishing club with a limited number of members. For those who are staying in their timber holiday lodge, you are not required to be a member of the fishery, and fishing is included in the purchase of the cabin for up to two people.
