Situated in the stunning hills of Shropshire, Bromdon Coarse Fishing Pools offers a phenomenal day’s sport to the dedicated angler. The venue comprises of 5 lakes in total, all of which provide numerous fishing features.
Additionally, each lake is surrounded by mature trees, which offer anglers a sense of privacy. Furthermore, the woodland areas make for great walking as well as being home to several wildlife species.
Importantly, each lake provides many spacious pegs, many of which are fully accessible to disabled and elderly anglers. Crucially, the site is family run and prides itself on being welcome to everyone. Also, the waters are all well stocked with Carp, bream, Tench, Roach and perch.
What size do the fish go to?
Carp are commonly brought in at double figures, with the largest specimen exceeding 25lbs. Additionally, Tench, Bream, Roach and Perch all typically weight between 3 and 8lbs.
What tactics work well?
Popular still water tactics are usually effective. Furthermore, utilising pellets during the warmer months can entice the larger Carp. Also, worms, maggots and sweetcorn are all popular choices of bait.
