Fishery Information

Run by the South Down Angling Club, Curls Farm is a club water located in the small village of Ripe situated near Golden Cross. This fishery is home to bream, carp and roach.

The gates of this venue have security locks and access are given to members. There is a limit of 2 rods per angler. Night fishing and fishing from islands are not permitted.

No vehicles are to be taken beyond parking area whereas the disabled drivers are not to take their vehicles beyond the dam end of the lake.

To get there, follow these directions. 150 metres west of the centre of Ripe village, turn right into a lane heading north west, signposted Laughton. Fishery is on the right hand side with entry via double farm gates secured by chain and combination padlock, leading to two large barns. Parking in designated area against the hedge adjacent to the lane.

What size do the fish go to?

Mirror carp go to over 20 lbs. and common carp go to over 20 lbs..
