Farnham Flint Lake

Address

Pingewood, Reading, Berkshire RG30 3UW, United Kingdom

Fishery Information

Farnham Flint is a big lake (42 acres in size) that can be found surrounded by a whole host of other lakes in the Reading area. It’s a big water but what we like about it is that it’s not just open and has many islands and features which you can fish up to.

As it’s a specimen lake the fish here grow big with there being a good stock of carp in the 20lb, 30lb and even 40lb bracket.

If carp are not your thing then there is tench to double figures and if they are not your kind of fish then there’s some decent sized bream and roach to be caught.

What size do the fish go to?

Carp to 40lb

Tench to double figures

Big bream

What tactics work well?

As it a big water you really need to try and locate the fish first or fish to features otherwise you will really struggle.

What facilities are on site?

There are no faciliites

Is parking available?
