Fishery Information

Nestled in the Norfolk countryside in the village of Hevingham is Felthorpe Lakes. This is a lovely quiet complex of lakes that include silver fish along with bream and carp. This is not a specimen carp venue.

Mirror Lake

The biggest of the three lakes and its 2 acres in size. Its a great looking, mature lake and holds decent sized fish including some grass carp. Theres even the odd koi carp as well. It was stocked in 2020 with 350 crucian carp and 400 small carp.

There are 2 islands to fish to.

Foxes Lake

This is smaller than mirror lake but offers some good fishing down the margins. There are some big tench in this lake.

Shadows Lake

This is the smallest and least fished lake of the 3. Because of that there’s still a bit of a mystery as to what stock is inside it.

What size do the fish go to?

Theres no information on the website about how big the fish to go. We don’t think there’s any really big fish in the lakes as its not a specimen carp fishery.

What tactics work well?

Most baits work well. Pellet, luncheon meat, sweet corn, and bread. Boilies do work as well.

What facilities are on site?

There is a toilet on site.

Is parking available?
