Fishery Information

Located in the quaint village of Legborne, Lincolnshire, Froghall Fisheries is an excellent facility for the keen Carp angler. The site comprises of 3 mature fishing lakes, all of which boast numerous fishing features.

The banks, long reeds and mature trees give the angler a sense of privacy, and also house a number of wildlife species. Furthermore, there are a number of spacious swims, the majority of which are fully accessible to the disabled and elderly angler.

The venue is open to anglers of all abilities and each swim operates on a first come first serve basis. Also, each of the 3 lakes is healthily stock with a variety of Bream, Tench, Perch, Roach and Carp.

What size do the fish go to?

Perch, Tench, Bream and Roach typically weigh between 3 and 8lbs. Moreover, it is not uncommon for Carp to reach double figures, with larger fish exceeding 20lbs.

The waters generally respond well to standard still water tactics. Additionally, anglers like to utilise pellets and boilies during the warmer months. Sweetcorn, worms, and maggots are the most popular choice of baits.

What facilities are on site?

Accommodation is available in the form of a campsite, caravan park and log cabins. Additionally, there is a café that sells a range of fresh foods plus hot and cold beverages. If you find yourself short of equipment, the on-site tackle and bait shop can provide all the essentials.
