Fishery Information

Haveringland Lake is located in the beautiful landscaped grounds of the hall of the same name, and is part of a complex that includes a static and touring caravan park. The lake itself is a glorious place to fish with stunning trees lining a former Estate Lake.

Carp and other coarse fish abound in the lake which can be fished on a day ticket as well as by residents. The 12-acre water is well-known in the angling world as a great spot for catching specimen carp as well as bream, perch, roach, pike and tench.

Convenient for the city of Norwich which is just a few miles away, the park is simple to find using the local main road networks and yet nestles in a tranquil location. This is a perfect choice for a fishing holiday in a beautiful part of the country.

What size do the fish go to?

There is little information on the size of the fish in the lake but many reports of carp in the 20lb region have been made, and the lake contains a fine selection of coarse species.

What facilities are on site?

There are no facilities on the lake but the caravan park does have a toilet block. The nearby town of Aylsham is replete with shops, pubs and places to eat.

Is parking available?

Parking is available close to the lake.
