Heskin Old Hall Farms Fishery is a stunning countryside location that offers an excellent day’s sport to both the novice and more seasoned angler. The site comprises of three venues, all of which boast a variety of fishing features and healthy stock of fish.

Lake 1 is a tranquil spot that is surrounded by mature trees. There are a healthy number of Carp, Bream, Tench Rudd and Roach in these waters.

Lake 2 is the closest to the main carp park, making it ideal for the elderly and disabled angler. Anglers are asked to call in advance, so that management can ensure that all requirements are met. The water is healthily stocked with Carp, Bream, Tench, Rudd and Perch.

Lake 3 is the largest of the 3 sites and has its own Island. The water is stocked with a large quantity of Carp, Tench, Bream, Rudd and Perch.

What size do the fish go to?

Bream, Perch, Rudd and Tench tend to weigh in between 2-7lbs. Carp are frequently caught well into the double figures, with larger Carp reaching 20lbs.

What tactics work well?
