Fishery Information

Situated in the peaceful countryside setting of Eccleston, Chorley, Cunneries Fishery offers a fantastic day’s sport to both the novice and more seasoned angler. The venue comprises of two lakes, the Canal Water and the Feature Lake, with the Feature Lake being the more popular of the two. Both waters are stocked with a healthy quantity of Bream, Tench, Perch, Roach and Carp. There are well over a dozen swims in total, with several of them being fully accessible to the disabled and elderly angler.

What size do the fish go to?

Bream, Tench, Perch and Roach Tend to weigh between 2 and 7 lbs. Carp are landed frequently in double figures, with larger fish occasionally exceeding 20lbs.

What tactics work well?

Using a feeder with worms, sweetcorn or maggots tends to be extremely effective. During the warmer months, anglers may wish to consider utilising pellets and boilies.
