Hevingham Lakes is a family vacation park that has been around for a long time and is located about 8 miles north of Norwich. It is convenient to get to the coast of Norfolk from this location.

The facility is designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI), and it is located in close proximity to the Norfolk Broads. It is also adjacent to 200 acres of heath and woodland.

A safe haven for the local fauna there are two bodies of water in Hevingham Lakes, both of which have been in full-time operation for more than thirty years.

Both Hevingham Lakes, the larger of the two lakes, and Norton Water have been stocked with Common, Mirror, and Crucian Carp in various sizes, with a good mix of single and double digit specimens in each lake. Tench, Bream, Roach, and Rudd are some of the other fish that found here.

Trees such as alders, willows, and oaks create a protective canopy over the lakes. They have an asymmetrical shape with islands, reeds, overhanging branches, gravels, and bays that can be explored.

What size do the fish go to?

There is a healthy balance of single-digit and double-digit carp. Bream can go up to 9 pounds, Roach up to 3 pounds, and Rudd weighing in at over 3 pounds.
