Fishery Information
Stanninghall Lakes Fishery is located not far from Wroxham which is in the North Easy of Norwich. There are 3 fishing lakes at the complex which are known as the pleasure lake, match lake and predator lake. Lets take a look at each lake in a bit more detail.
The carp lake is 2 acres in size and only has 9 swims. This means it will never get over crowded and contains around 220 carp.
Pleasure/Match Lake is also about 1.5 acres in size with 27 swims. This lake contains a variety of coarse fish including Tench to 9lb, Carp to 16lb, Crucian Carp to 4lb, Roach to 1 ½ lb, Bream to 6lb, Perch to 2/1/2, Pike to 15lb.
Predator lake contains Pike to 25lb and Perch to 3 1/2lb.
What size do the fish go to?
The carp go to 16lb, crucian carp top 5lb and the pike go to 15lb.
What tactics work well?
All types of fishing with a float or ledger rod and pole
What facilities are on site?
A tidy place with toilets and a freshwater tap.
Is parking available?
The car park is near to the two lakes so not too far to walk especially if you are disabled.
