Higher Shorston Lakes and Lodges is a holiday and day ticket fishery located in the lovely Devon countryside. If you are staying on the site in either the lodges or static caravans then your fishing is free. It’s hard to find a place where they don’t charge extra for fishing, so we really like this about Higher Shorston Lakes.
It’s a great place to come and relax with the family. If your kids get bored then there’s a games room and also a large play area which will keep everyone entertained.
Looking at their Facebook page, they run matches here and the weights that come out are really good.
They have also been doing a lot of maintenance work lately with all new fences being put up, work being done to stop a leak in one of the lakes and also netting the lakes to see what stock is in them. All in all, it looks like a very well run fishery.
