The picturesque village of Hilton near Yarm in the North East of England is home to the Hilton Fishing Lakes. The purpose-built complex features two fishing lakes expertly designed, a natural lake, and a nature trail that are both accessible to the public.
The two lakes form a circle, and the island in the middle is about as wide as a canal. They are of a very high standard and accessible without difficulty by anyone, regardless of physical ability. The fishery is a relatively new man-made venue, having been open for a few years. As a result, there is no monster fish in there yet. However, there is a good amount of young carp.
