Fishery Information

Hollyhurst Lakes is an established two-water venue located at Coventry, Warwickshire, that has had its existing stock of fish supplemented over the past three years with a large number of common and mirror carp, tench, roach, and skimmer bream. 

Pegs for night fishing on Specimen Lake can be reserved in advance for a fee of fifteen pounds for twenty-four hours, but there is a cap on the number of anglers who can participate. There is a parking lot close to the entrance. Anglers can also park their vehicles behind some pegs when the weather is dry, thanks to a track that goes around part of the two lakes.

What size do the fish go to?

The lake record carp is little over 30 pounds, while catfish weighing up to 25lb are on record. Sturgeon known as “The Beast,” weighing more than 70 lbs, is the largest fish caught in the lake.

What tactics work well?

Method rig, pole fishing, waggler with ground bait, pellet and boilies among others.

What facilities are on site?

The complex has toilet facilities and local takeaways will deliver to the main gate.

Is parking available?

Yes, there is ample car parking.
