Fishery Information

The Knightscote pond fishery covers 0.5 acres and it comprises two small ponds, each of which has approximately 15 pegs with depths ranging from 1 to 5 feet. The Harefield Angling Project, a venture of Uxbridge Rovers to promote fishing opportunities for youths under the age of sixteen and people with disabilities, is in charge of managing the ponds, which are situated just outside Harefield on the road leading to Ickenham.

Hilingdon Council and the Environment Agency provide support for the project. Senior members who take pleasure in constant float action frequent the banks. The presence of lilies, short weed beds, and great margins are the make it very easy to locate regions that are good for fishing. The fish are gorgeous in proportion to their size, and year after year they put on more and more weight. Crucians, Rudd, and Tench are the primary inhabitants, in addition to the occasional Carp.
