Fishery Information

A three-acre lake that stands as part of the Broadlands Estate, Longbridge Lake is a quiet fishery with plenty of features.

This spot features a hard path, with woodchip swims – some of which are big enough for substantial bivvies.

Fishing is available on day passes at Longbridge Lake. There are also passes for 24-hour sessions. Night fishing is available, but anglers are advised to seek information from Broadlands ahead of time. Tickets are offered from local tackle shops or from the bank.

Longbridge Lake is stocked with carp, tench, bream, crucians, roach, and perch.

What size do the fish go to?

Carp at Longbridge range up to 29 pounds. Bream clock in at four pounds, while tench of eight and a half pounds lurk these waters.

Crucian carp chart up to two and a half pounds and perch of three pounds are in Longbridge.

The waters also include two-pound roach.

What tactics work well?

Boilies or surface pellets are the best tactic to land the big carp in Longbridge Lake.

Bread mash or corn will turn up the crucians and tench in particular.

Be aware that trout and micro pellets are prohibited. Unhooked mats and micro-barbed hooks are required.

What facilities are on site?

There are toilets available on the property.

There is a secure car park at Longbridge Lake.
