Fishery Information

Set in exquisite and relaxing surroundings, Lymm Dam is a big water formed in 1824 with the creation of a road across a valley of sandstone. This Bay Malton Angling Club water has varying depths between 3 and 6 feet. Offering superb angling experience, this dam is home to carp, pike to over 25 lbs, Wels catfish, eels, perch, roach, rudd, chub, tench and lots of bream to double figures.

Please note that live and dead coarse fish are banned baits. Night fishing is allowed but only for members.

What size do the fish go to?

Carp go to 35 lbs and pike to 25 lbs.
