Fishery Information

Controlled by the Warrington Anglers Association, Moore Quarry is a members only water situated next to the Manchester Ship Canal near to the village of Moore, 2 miles west of Warrington. This clear water has a depth of up to 40 feet.

Moore Quarry is among the association’s flagship specimen fisheries. Please note that fishing can be challenging on site. Fish residents include specimen carp to over 30 lbs, bream and tench into double figures, pike, roach and perch.

Juniors are allowed to visit but should be accompanied by an adult. Night fishing is allowed but limited to 2 nights only. Fishing is allowed on the swims only.
