Fishery Information

Situated in Peckleton, Leicester, Malloy Park is a stunning location that offers fantastic sport to the keen Carp angler. The site comprises of 9 fishing lakes, all of which are home to a variety of fishing features.

There are a great number of spacious pegs available, most of which are flat and accessible to the disabled or elderly anger. Furthermore, the mature trees, ponds and reeds present a hotspot for wildlife. The venue has often been described as one of the best fishing spots in England, due to its gold award from the Fisheries Accreditation Scheme.

Access is available only to members, with the season operating from June 1st to March 31st each year. The waters are extremely well stocked with Carp as well as containing a range of Bream and Roach.

What size do the fish go to?

Bream and Roach tend to weigh between 4 and 6lbs. Additionally, Carp frequently come in at double figures, with the largest fish exceeding 20lbs.

What tactics work well?

Throughout the summer, anglers generally utilise pellets and boilies. Moreover, using a feeder with sweetcorn or worms can help to entice larger Carp.
