Fishery Information

Set in a tranquil location near Frodsham, Manley Old Hall Fishery offers a fantastic day’s sport to both the beginner and more seasoned angler. The site comprises of multiple pools which all offer a host of fishing features. The mature trees and reeds give a feeling of privacy as well as offering shelter from the elements.

£8 for 1 rod or £10 for 2. Currently, no spectators are welcome due to continued Covid 19 safety restrictions.

Furthermore, the lake is home to a healthy variety of Carp, Bream, Roach, Tench and Chub.

What size do the fish go to?

Bream, Tench, Roach and Chub tend to weigh between 3-8lbs. Also, there are many smaller Carp as well as larger specimen reaching double figures. The largest Carp can exceed 20lbs.

What tactics work well?

Standard still water tactics are generally effective. Also, utilising pellets and boilies can be useful, particularly during the summer. Anglers tend to prefer worms, maggots and sweetcorn as baits.

What facilities are on site?

Clean and accessible toilet facilities are open to visitors.

Is parking available?

Safe and secure parking spaces are available on location.
