All species of carp are present in the Coarse Lakes, including Commons, Mirrors, Koi, and Grass Carp, as well as Roach, Bream, and skimmer Bream, Tench, and small Chub.

What size do the fish go to?

Carp to 20lbs plus,  Bream to 10lbs and Tench to 7lbs

What tactics work well?

It is possible to have a lot of success with ledger fishing on the coarse lakes if you use a conventional bomb or method feeder loaded with Vitalin and sweetcorn and a hook with two corn kernels in it.
