Managed by the York & District Amalgamation of Anglers, Park View Lake is an old estate water situated 5 miles north of York. Considered as one of the association’s premier carp lakes, this venue offers excellent sport for pleasure and specimen anglers because it is well-stocked with stunning bream, tench to 5 lbs, roach, perch, carp to over 20 lbs and pike to 10 lbs.

Carp go to over 20 lbs and tench to 5 lbs.

What tactics work well?

Modern carp tactics are used by most anglers for this lake. Bream and tench respond well to float fished corn and bread flake. Waggler tactics with maggot or caster as bait work well for catching perch and roach.
