Fishery Information

Raemoir Trout Fishery was first built in 1995 as a private fishery on a single loch of approximately 2 acres. In 1997, the fishery first opened its doors to the public as a trout fishery, and it is now a Troutmasters Competition Water. Today, the fishery covers 11 acres and consists of three lochs and a bait pond that covers approximately 6 acres combined.

Stocking with trout is weekly all through the year to maintain an excellent density of fish at all times. Because of the abundant natural food sources, the trout in this fishery can maintain excellent fighting condition despite their high population density.
