The Birmingham Anglers Association Limited is in charge of the Retreat Farm Pools, a collection of three smaller pools and a half mile of fishing on the right bank of the River Severn. Pools 1 and 2, located just downstream of the Grimley Fishery and upstream of the Bevere Lock, hold a combined approximately 30 pegs, are. These pools can be reserved for competitions. Pool 2 has tench, crucians, and some silver fish, whereas pool 1 has carp. Pool 3 is currently empty, but it is waiting for stocking.
From the “T” junction in Grimley, which provides access to the fishery, take a right onto Camp Lane and continue on the road until you reach Retreat Farm. After taking a left turn onto the lane leading to the lock, proceed through the gate located on the left. Follow the signs provided by the BAA to gain entry and find parking. This location does not permit night fishing in any capacity.
