Fishery Information

Mike and Jean Manning, with the assistance of their son Andrew, run their family business, the Park Fishery. The lake is approximately one acre in size and contains twenty fishing pegs nicely spaced apart from one another. Access to the pegs, is made simpler by the presence of a lawned grassy area that surrounds the perimeter of the lake.

There is a sufficient amount of space behind each peg, allowing for the secure transport of back poles without impeding the use of any other pegs. The depth of the lake ranges from five to seven and a half feet when measured ten meters from the shore.

Roach, rudd, bream, tench, perch, Crucian carp, koi carp, small FI, carp, chub, and golden rudd are some of the fish species found in the lake. The gates to the lake are open from dawn until dusk every day of the year.
