Fishery Information

Wold View Fisheries is located in one of the most stunning areas of the United Kingdom. The fishery consists of a group of seven established fishing lakes that have continued to offer excellent fishing for many years. They are firmly established in a picturesque landscape that is partially wooded but otherwise open.

The size of some of the fishing lakes is quite large stretches of calm water, and endless number of fishing spots with pegs located all around each lake. Some of the locations are open, while others are more hidden away.   The lakes are as follows:

Gold Lake, which has 41 pegs and a fish stock consisting of Barbel, Mirror Carp, Common Carp, Crucian Carp, Tench, Roach, Rudd, Eyd, Perch, Bream, Skimmers, and F1.

Silver Lake features 37 fishing pegs and a fish stock that includes Crucian Carp, Barbel, Tench, Roach, Rudd, Eyd, Perch, Bream, and Skimmers.

Bronze Lake features 19 pegs that are generously spaced apart and a fish stock that includes mirror carp, common carp, Crucian carp, tench, roach, rudd, eyd, perch, and bream.

The Ultimate Lake features 24 fishing spots, an island, and a large selection of fish in its waters.

The Island Lake, which has a large number of F1s stocked into it, has 18 pegs, two of which are reserved for disabled anglers it is a favourite with young anglers.

The Canal Lake, which was artificially created to resemble an actual canal, contains the same sizeable stock and wide variety of fish as the other lakes combined.

Ruby is the newest lake or pond on the complex, and it features a mixed stock of large fish in addition to its 24 fishing pegs.

What size do the fish go to?

Fish can grow quite large in the fishery with some exceeding the 30lb mark.
