Fishery Information

Tollerton Ponds, located on York Road, is home to three lakes: Kingfisher, Coot, and Heron Lake. A significant population of Common Carp, Mirror Common Carp, Barbel, Bream, Ide, Perch, Tench, and Roach reside in these lakes.

Anglers fishing for pleasure and match fishing are welcome to book time on any of the three lakes throughout the year. Kingfisher Depth on the roadside ranges from 4 to 7 feet, while Coot Depth is between 3 and 5 feet, and Heron Depth can reach up to 6 feet.

What size do the fish go to?

In Kingfisher,  Carp stocked 20lb (average 5lb). In Coot, Carp stocked 15lb (average 3lb), and in Heron Carp stocked 10lb (average 3lb).

What tactics work well?

Pole fishing, feeder, and waggler.
