Fishery Information

This 2-acre fishery is situated behind the water tower just north of the M40, past Junction 9, Bicester. It is located between Middleton Stoney and Bucknell (Oxford, England). You will need to go through the village of Bucknell to access the venue. Parking is available at the top of the entrance, but make sure not to obstruct the farmer’s gate. Walk down to the water tower and along the footpath. It’s about a 5-minute walk from there.

Fishing requires a valid permit and a rod licence. They only allow use of barbless hooks, a landing net, disgorger and/or forceps. They do not allow use of landing net or carp sack for keeping carp.

This venue is perfect for beginner and intermediate carp fishing and is also well-stocked with perch, roach, rudd and tench. It is enclosed by trees which give shelter from the wind and allow stalking tactics.

Most of their bailiffs understand the important of safety and are trained first aiders. They regularly visit and spend time with anglers to provide guidance, help and tuition when needed.
