Glebe Leisure Touring Caravan Park

Address

Stratton Lane, Fringford, Bicester, Oxfordshire OX27 8RJ, United Kingdom

Fishery Information

Glebe is a caravan park with a beautiful fishing lake on site. There are day tickets available for the fishing lake for people pitching their caravan on one of the 30 pitches or for anyone that wants to visit the site and simply fish.

While you are there, you can enjoy the beauty surrounding the lake, but don’t take your eye off of your rod for too long. The one-acre lake holds a good amount of bream, roach, rudd, perch, tench and carp. All of the fish are in excellent condition, and all are very hungry for your bait!

What size do the fish go to?

The fish at Glebe aren’t the biggest in the world, but there are plenty of them. Catches of 5lb plus carp are not uncommon. Roach, rudd and perch can all be caught over a pound, and there’s also bream to over 3lb and tench to about five.

What tactics work well?

Glebe is a small lake with a good concentration of fish, so match style tactics are well worth using here. Bait a small area with groundbait, pellets and corn, perhaps a few maggots too. Keep this area baited throughout the day, and use pellet, corn or maggot on your hook, and you’ll never have a chance to put your rod down.

What facilities are on site?

There are toilets on site available to the anglers. There is also everything you’d expect from a caravans site too.

Is parking available?

Yes parking is available near the lake.
