Fishery Information

Tyram Fisheries has a treat for almost every coarse angler in the world. If you love big carp or pike, or you love getting a good stamp of fish during a day ticket session, this complex has it all. This is a family-run fishing complex that is operated by a fishing-mad family. This makes it a perfect place for angling beginners, but also a great place to enjoy fishing as well.

There are three lakes on-site, two day ticket lakes and a syndicate lake. If you love carp, you may consider joining the syndicate lake. This is where the huge carp hang out, and they are absolutely huge. Tyram Fisheries is full of big carp, though, so anyone wanting a PB can do it on a day ticket water here as well.

What size do the fish go to?

Island lake is all about match fishing. It currently has records in excess of 300lbs in a single match! There are massive carp in this lake, plenty of f1s, bream, tench, good roach and rudd, as well as more.

Horseshoe has loads of double-figure and 20lb carp. If you know how to fish for carp, you can catch 35 carp or more in a single session on this lake.

Finally, the syndicate lake. Baby Baz is the largest resident here who last came out at 52lbs 6oz. There is said to be a few others over 40lbs now as well. There are also a few other 30s, loads of 20s, and a ridiculous number of doubles.

What tactics work well?

Match and horseshoe lakes both respond really well to match-style fishing. Pellets, maggots, corn and groundbait are always good choices here. Fishing to the island is key.

For the syndicate lake, most carp angling works well; they love pellets, and they love stinky bait, so bring your goo and get ready for the take of your life.

What facilities are on site?

None that we know of.

Is parking available?
