Fishery Information
The South Yorkshire countryside is where you will find Wire Mill dam and is easily located not that far from Sheffield city center.
What size do the fish go to?
There are not that many bigger carp, but at the time of writing, they go to 16lb. We read that peg 1 is one of the preferred pegs to fish.
What tactics work well?
Luncheon meat works really well for the bigger tench or the usual maggot and caster will catch you perch and roach.
Fishing near to the lily pads works really well as well.
What facilities are on site?
There are some pegs suitable for disabled anglers
