Fishery Information

Clifford Chambers is a lovely, peaceful and quiet stretch of the River Stour. Running in conjunction with Seven Rivers Trust, it is home to stunning bream, large barbel, carp, chub, dace, perch, pike to 20 lbs., roach and tench. It is open for both members and non-members who have valid fishing licence.

This 0.5-mile peaceful water offers excellent fishing from dawn until dusk. Known to be a slow moving water, the deepest spot is around peg 16. Please note that other pegs could also be challenging for both pleasure and match anglers.

Pike go to 20 lbs..

What tactics work well?

Allowed baits include luncheon meat, maggots and sweet corn. All other baits are banned. Water fishes well during autumn months.

There is parking available on site.
