Fishery Information
Fosse Way Fishery, located in Warwickshire near Stratford-upon-Avon, offers an excellent fishing experience with three different lakes, each suited to different fishing styles. The fishery is easily accessible off the Fosse or via Lighthorne from Leamington Spa. Gates open at 07:30 and close at 18:30 each day.
What size do the fish go to?
The size of the fish varies between the three lakes. Lake One, a specimen lake, is home to Carp that can reach up to 25 lbs. Lake Two holds Carp from 1lbs – 3lbs, Bream from 1lbs – 6 lbs, and Grass Carp from 1 lbs – 3 lbs. Lake Three, a match pond, features Carp from 1 lbs – 3 lbs and Roach.
What tactics work well?
As each lake has a different stock, the best tactics will depend on the lake and the species being targeted. Carp fishing techniques would work well on Lake One, whilst a mix of coarse fishing tactics would be effective on Lake Two. Lake Three, with its Carp and Roach population, is particularly well-suited to pole fishing.
What facilities are on site?
The fishery provides an onsite toilet for the convenience of anglers. Moreover, three out of the four banks of Lake One are available for fishing, and both Lake One and Lake Three feature small islands in the centre, adding an additional element to your fishing strategy.
Is parking available?
Yes, there is a small car park next to each lake, making it convenient for anglers to access the waterside.
