Fishery Information

Situated in Kent, Horton Kirby Lakes offers a tremendous day’s sport for the keen coarse angler. The site comprises of 4 lakes, all of which host a variety of spacious pegs, with many accessible to the disabled and elderly.

Each venue has a wealth of fishing features, such a pools, reeds and overhanging trees. Furthermore, all of the waters are healthily stocked with bream, Tench, Perch, Rudd, Pike and Carp.

The site is open and welcoming to all, with junior memberships starting at £60 and adults £120. Discounts are available disabled anglers and the elderly.

What size do the fish go to?

Tench, Bream, Rudd and Perch tend to weigh between 2-8lbs. Carp and Pike are caught with frequency in double figures, with the course record for Carp sitting at 36lbs.

What tactics work well?

Using a feeder with sweetcorn, worms or maggots can be extremely effective. Utilising pellets and boilies during the warmer month should also be considered.

What facilities are on site?

Clean and accessible toilet facilities are open to victors.
