Fishery Information
The Lakedown Trout Fishery is in a remote valley in the Wealden, boasting picturesque views and no obvious signs of human habitation. In 1981, actor and rock legend Roger Daltrey was the one responsible for the original design and creation of The Fishery. An abundance of aquatic fly life can be found in all four spring-fed lakes, which cover approximately 20 acres. The waters provide the fish with the opportunity to become naturalized and to cultivate an appetite for a natural diet, making for challenging fishing for the more experienced trout angler.
