Night fishing is available by contacting the Association for details.

What size do the fish go to?

Bream of over 10 pounds and carp of over 30 pounds also turn up here.

What tactics work well?

As with all Ringwood and District Anglers’ Association waters, there are rules.

At Longham Reservoir, anglers may not fish from the railing surrounding the pump house at the lodge.

No cereal groundbait, nuts, cat or dog food, or keepnets permitted.

Unhooking mats are required.

Dogs are permitted but must be on leads.

Longham Reservoir is a two-rod maximum water.

The fishery is closed on Christmas Day.

What facilities are on site?

There is a fishing lodge at Longham Reservoir, with toilets available.

Is parking available?

Anglers must park at the Study Centre lot, not on nearby Green Lane or Ringwood Road. A parking permit is required. Gates will be locked.

Disabled parking is also available at Longham Reservoir, but passes are required.
