Fishery Information

The Northam Farm Touring Park in Somerset, located close to Burnham-on-Sea, is the ideal location for fishing vacations. The coarse fishing lake is in well-established surroundings, with 42 pegs, making it an excellent choice for anglers of all experience levels looking to test their skills.

The open season at Holiday Park, runs from March until October, in which period the fishery holds their annual three fishing tournaments. Because of the high demand for these events, pre-booking is necessary to avoid disappointments.

The fishing lake has a healthy population of common carp, crucian carp, ghost carp, and mirror carp, as well as bream, chubb, perch, roach, and tench. Fishing is allowed at no cost, and children under the age of 16 must have an adult accompany them.

Fish can go to above 15lb.

What tactics work well?

Use of coarse fishing techniques, but keep nets are prohibited from the first of June until the first of September. High-protein baits, nuts, boilies, and ground baits are also prohibited, as are barbed hooks. Landing nets are a must use at all times.
